Henry is a long, fast engine. He has a thoroughbred look and like all thoroughbreds he tends to be somewhat highly strung and prone to illness.
Historical Note[]
Henry is based on the distinctive shape of a Stanier 4-6-0 Class 5 engine built for the London Midland & Scottish Railway at Crewe.

Trivia[]
- Oddly enough, Henry's side-rods are red even though many engines have grey/white ones like he had in the TV series.
- Some models of Henry have a gap under his smoke box.
- While Henry regained wheel arches in the 2nd series of the TV series, his ERTL model does not have any.
- Some models of Henry depict him with lime green paint along with Percy.
- Henry's face is way bigger than his smokebox.
